KNOW BEFORE YOU SHIP
Real numbers, not guesswork. Estimate your transit time and cost before you ever pick up the phone.
Our freight planning tools use TEC’s operational data and historical shipment data to estimate transit times, delivery windows and shipping costs in seconds.
They’re designed to help you plan with confidence—not replace a formal quote. Every shipment is different, but these calculators provide a realistic starting point based on how freight actually moves.
How Fast Can It Fly? Next Flight Out Time Estimator
Next Flight Out (NFO) is the fastest way to move smaller, lighter freight over long distances — booking your shipment on the next available commercial flight rather than waiting for a dedicated truck route. It’s ideal when your delivery point is far enough away that ground transit would eat into your deadline, and your freight is TSA Known Shipper eligible (we can help you attempt to get set up if you’re not sure).
This calculator walks through every step between booking and delivery including the TSA verification window, which is the one part of the process that varies most by situation. Enter your estimated flight time and adjust the TSA slider to see how your total timeline shifts.
How we calculate this: Steps like driver dispatch, airport transit, and cargo clearance are fixed averages based on our typical NFO shipments. TSA Known Shipper validation and driver assignments are the most variable steps, timing depends on your shipper history and documentation status, which is why we give you a range to adjust rather than a single fixed number

When Can My Ground Freight Deliver? Dedicated Sprinter Van Transit Estimator
Our dedicated Sprinter Van service is built for freight that needs a direct, no-stops route — no consolidation, no other shipments sharing space, just your freight and a driver headed straight to the destination. It’s our most requested service, and for good reason: predictable timing, a dedicated vehicle, and door-to-door simplicity for shipments up to 3 pallets and 3,000 lbs.
Enter the driving mileage between your pickup and delivery zip codes (Google Maps works great for this) and this tool will estimate your full timeline — from the first call to final delivery.
How we calculate this: Steps 1 through 3 and step 5 reflect our average dispatch, load, and delivery-confirmation times across real sprinter van shipments. Transit time is calculated at 48 MPH average — a realistic reflection of long-distance driving speed accounting for normal traffic, stops, and road conditions, not a straight speed-limit assumption.
What Will My Shipment Cost? Sprinter Van Rate Estimator
Pricing for dedicated freight isn’t one-size-fits-all — distance, lane, and timing all play a role. Rather than making you guess or wait on hold for a quote, this tool gives you a real price range based on the same rate structure our team uses internally, adjusted for the natural variability in lead time, day of week, and specific lane conditions.
Enter your pickup zip, delivery zip, and the driving mileage between them (again, Google Maps is your friend here) to see an estimated price range in seconds.
How we calculate this: Rates are based on your total mileage, with per-mile pricing that decreases at higher mileage tiers — reflecting real efficiencies on longer hauls. The range you see accounts for factors like lead time, time of day, and lane-specific conditions. Rate includes up to 2 hours of standard wait time; loading and offloading are the customer’s responsibility. For shipments under 200 miles, rates vary enough by specific lane that we ask you to call us directly at 844-382-5068 — it takes two minutes and gets you an accurate number.

Which Service Gets There Better? Air vs. Ground Comparison Tool
Speed and cost aren’t the only things worth weighing between Next Flight Out air and our Dedicated Sprinter Van ground service — control matters too. Ground rates have climbed industry-wide over the past year, so the cost gap with air isn’t always what people assume. Air, meanwhile, depends on commercial flight schedules outside our control — a late departure or missed connection can mean hours, sometimes a full day, of delay. Ground delays are usually measured in minutes.
This tool puts both options side by side on your actual route, so you can weigh speed, cost, and predictability together.
How we calculate this: Ground figures use the same formulas as our Sprinter Van calculators above. Air transit time uses tiered average speeds by distance, reflecting real scheduled flight data — shorter routes fly less efficiently due to fixed taxi and landing time. Air pricing isn’t shown here since it depends heavily on ground-leg airport distance and carrier availability — call 844-382-5068 for an exact quote. NFO air service requires a TSA-approved known shipper and no single piece over 200 lbs.
Numbers You Can Actually Trust
We know freight pricing and timing can feel like a black box industry-wide. These tools are our attempt to change that — to show our work instead of just asking you to take our word for it.
It’s also why we lean on Trustpilot for our reviews instead of a system we control ourselves. More than 300,000 businesses trust Trustpilot for the same reason: honesty and transparency shouldn’t be optional. See our Trustpilot reviews →
